Privacy Policy

We are aware that it is our social responsibility to deal appropriately with personal information. We do our best to protect personal information, having come up with the following policies:

  • Compliance with Laws and Other Regulations Regarding the Protection of Personal Information

    We comply with laws on the protection of personal information as well as guidelines and other regulations set forth by relevant governmental ministries and agencies.

  • Acquisition and Use of Personal Information

    When collecting personal information from our customers for business activities, we are transparent about how that information is used—e.g., to provide logistics services and supply information on logistics services. We obtain personal information appropriately and only what is needed for our use. We do not use personal information for any other purposes unless necessary for legal reasons.

  • Measures to Manage Safety

    When handling personal information, we take the following measures to prevent it from being stolen, lost or tainted and to appropriately manage personal data.
    3-1) We assure that we appropriately handle personal information, and through this privacy policy inform customers on
       where to ask questions and address complaints that they might have.

    3-2) We assure that we have rules for managing personal information, which stipulate how we handle personal information,
       who is responsible for and in charge of handling the information, and what their duties and responsibilities are.

    3-3) We assure to undertake the following systematic safety management measures.
    3-3-1) We assign those responsible for handling personal data;
    3-3-2) We make it clear in which employees have access to the personal information and the scope of which the personal
        data are allowed to be handled by them;
    3-3-3) We have a structure for contacting and reporting to those responsible for handling personal information when it
        has been discovered or there are signs of any violation of laws or our corporate rules; and
    3-3-4) We monitor regularly how personal information is handled.

    3-4) We assure that we undertake the following personal safety management measures.
    3-4-1) We regularly provide employees with education on personal information handling; and
    3-4-2) Items are listed in our rules of employment, compliance manuals and elsewhere regarding the confidentiality of
        personal information.

    3-5) We assure that we undertake measures to prevent unauthorized parties from viewing personal information—e.g.,
       we make efforts to keep equipment, electronic media, documents and others used in handling personal information
       from being stolen or lost.

    3-6) We assure that we have a structure to keep information systems that handle personal information from external
       unauthorized access and illegal software.

  • Provision of Personal Information to Third Parties

    Unless we obtain consent personally from relevant interested parties or are required legally, we do not provide their personal information to any third parties (including those in other countries and regions).

  • Management and Supervision of Business Partners

    When we entrust business partners to handle personal information to achieve targets for which it is obtained, we conclude necessary contracts with the partners so that they will manage the information safely. We also manage and supervise the partners in an appropriate manner.

  • Disclosure, Alteration, Addition and Removal of Personal Information

    When we are required personally by relevant interested parties to disclose, alter, add and remove their personal information, we meet such requests properly in accordance with our own procedures. Of inquiries about the handling, disclosure, alteration, addition and removal of personal information that we have, the following department is in charge.
