| A five-story warehouse of some 11,240 square meters was completed in Shibaura in April 1963. It was when second-phase construction work came to an end three years after the commencement of the first phase in 1960. |
Located along Route No.1 of the Metropolitan Expressway, which led to Haneda, the facility made it a principle to provide rapid services with the employment of a full lineup of cargo-handling equipment. In addition to these features, it was also fitted with rooms with air purifiers of some 1,983 square meters in total, sufficient to be called a state-of-the-art warehouse.
As with the Yamashita Pier warehouse, which was completed earlier, the Shibaura warehouse was developed as a base for our business in the Tokyo-Yokohama area. |

| Nearly at the same time when our Umeda distribution center went into service, we also set up another office in Nagoya. In February 1965, we built a distribution center in Tamafune-cho, Nagoya City which was upgraded into a branch office in 1968, opening office space in the warehousing space. |

The establishment of the Osaka branch office - which had under control the Umeda and Takatsuki offices, which were put into operation in 1962 and 1964, respectively - accelerated the expansion of our business base network in the Kansai area.
In Osaka, we opened the Kadoma office in October 1968. In Kobe, we completed the Maya destribution center at the Port of Kobefs Maya Wharf in November 1965, which enabled us to realize our long-awaited dream of advancing into the Port of Kobe. |

| For the purpose of providing information and high-quality services via online systems in preparation for an approaching information-oriented age, we introduced completers in 1970 for the first time in our history.
Not only reducing office work and realizing more efficient operations, the introduction of the computers ahead of other companies enabled us to begin developing an information system in such early days, which has developed into our current online system. |
