It is new-generation distribution centers that can meet strong consumer demand for clothing, food and housing at a time when affluence is required in all scenes of people’s lives. Their activities include the storage of import, export and domestic cargoes as well as inventory management for such shipments; a series of cargo handling activities, such as deliveries into warehouses, inspections, sorting, packing, small-lot picking and deliveries out of warehouses; arrangements for product deliveries; and the preparation of relevant documents. They meet various customer demand with high value-added functions.
＞Regular/Temperature-Controlled Warehouses＜
We run many distribution centers, most of which are located at and around Japan’s big five ports, including the Port of Tokyo. In particular, we have major distribution centers in the National Capital Region’s waterfront areas, such as the New-Odaiba and Daikoku-Wharf distribution centers. These centers have equipment for handling not only general cargo but also those that require temperature and humidity control as well as fumigation activities.
＞Cold Storage Warehouses＜
Now that we are in an advanced information society, evolution is required even in the distribution of foodstuffs. Demanded are not simply refrigerated warehouses but also facilities that could controls overall goods and information flows and have functions as centers of sales and marketing activities. We have the Rokko cold storage distribution center at the Port of Kobe. We believe that handling cargo thoroughly - delivering them into warehouses, storing them and delivering them out of warehouses to their destinations - is a distribution system that consumers are seeking more than our customers.

On behalf of customers, we provide complex and time-consuming services with the maximum employment of our affluent experience and know-how, such as inspecting, labeling and repacking imported general cargoes and foodstuffs; tagging, inspecting and wrapping sport gears; and inspecting, sorting, docketing and assembling domestic shipments.
＞Inventory Management＜
In addition to computer-based inventory management services, we also provide customers via electronic date interchange (EDI) systems with data on the arrival and departure of freight, inventory volumes and invoices. We also provide logistics information via the Internet on inventory management and inquiries about cargo arrival and departure histories. We do not believe that inventory management is merely storing products; the inventory management that we are pursing is, however, the management of products at many points from manufacturers to retailers and consumers.
