 As of January 2009, Keihin had transported many wind power generators by sea, which are equivalent to some 220 1,500-kilowatt generators. For some of them, we had even provided domestic transport and installation services in countries and regions of destination.
Normally, a 1,500-kilowatt wind turbine can produce 3.3 million kilowatts of electricity a year (at a operating rate of between 22 percent and 23 percent), which can supply 900 households with electrical power for a period of a year.
As such, we had been engaged in providing clean energy to a total of 198,000 households through various projects.
